We're in the "hat Man" Building, on the corner of Church and Broad Streets.
Lauren Slaughter, the gallery director, studied art history at the College of Charleston, and is the President of the French Quarter Gallery Association.
Lauren works with all buyers to help them find the perfect painting for their home collection. She has always loved art since she was very young, remembering the very first encounter with Picasso at an exhibit at the High Museum in Atlanta, GA and an early trip to the MET, in New York City. It has been a dream realized to be able to surround herself with paintings all day. Talking with artists and visitors stopping through brings Lauren immense happiness. Lauren says, “"Charleston has a fascinating group of people that live here and visit here, and I enjoy meeting them and talking with them about art."”
Whether you are an artist, art collector, or all together new to looking at art, Lauren will make your gallery experience as enjoyable as possible.
